The year was 1966, and Frank recorded a live album at the Copa Room at the Sands Hotel and Casino with the great Count Basie band. The show included many definitive readings of the songs that are most closely identified with Frank Sinatra. Frank Torchio of Frank’s Rat Pack and the Russell Scarbrough Orchestra present a Reprise of that night of historical collaboration between two legends: Count Basie and Frank Sinatra, Live at the Sands in Las Vegas.

Frank Torchio (male singer) has been performing for over four decades – as a vocal impersonator and comic impressionist. In the 1980s he performed at comedy clubs in Manhattan, such as, The Comic Strip and The Improv. In 1995, Frank won first place as Rochester’s Funniest Bigshot at Rochester’s Geva Theatre‘s fundraiser, Stand Up for Geva. In 2003, Frank began singing with Nik Entertainment’s Rochester Rat Pack. Shortly thereafter, he formed Frank’s Rat Pack.

Russell Scarbrough’s compelling, visceral works reflect a diverse array of musical resources, drawing inspiration from both the jazz tradition and from contemporary classical music. His music is filled with stimulating themes, with rich contrasts and unpredictable rhythmic energy. A six-time ASCAP Plus Award recipient, Scarbrough’s works are regularly performed by jazz ensembles, orchestras, and chamber groups internationally, and he makes frequent appearances as an educator, a conductor, and a performer.
